I have a technology solution that provides real time production information to mining operations. Our system is web-based and machine operators can access it to see information relevant to the way they operated machines during their shift.
I would like to provide operators access to the system through a robust Human Interface Device (such as a touch screen, screen and trackball or the like). A desktop PC with a mouse will not suffice in this case, as the interface device should be mounted to a wall and enable a conversation between a supervisor and an operator.
I require a PowerPoint presentation that provides detail on 5 interface options that I can present to my client. The following criteria should be assessed for each option:
- How operator will interact with our system
- Location of Supplier
- How products will be secured to a wall
- How products can be kept clean
- Any warranties provided by the supplier
I will work with the winning bidder to refine these criteria as I receive feedback on research done.
The devices should be robust enough to be used by multiple people, should be easy to clean and should be able to display our web-based system and allow users to interact with it. The selected products should be available off-the-shelf.
I have attached a picture where a screen was used to display reports - we would like to allow operators to now interact with our system.
