Hi! The description of the job is a bit vague, so I would advise to discuss the issue in details first. It's not the task for the software engineer and not the task to be done with the LLM. I will probably be able to provide a binary patch for the application, however those patches are usually volatile and should be taken carefully. Disabling the features is usually the safest way to go, if there is really a need on implementing new features we can discuss on how ti better implement it. I will have to see what language was actually used, the system architecture and if there is any protection put on the application itself. Gatekeeper compliancy is one different issue. Even if the application will be signed, it cannot be signed as the original software vendor, as all of the signatures are provided by the Apple personally. Still there are workarounds and we can discuss those as well. I would estimate it to take a week, but depending on the exact tasks the duration could be shorter or longer.
