I am finalising the ventilation concept for an underground parking facility and need a full CFD study that leads directly to an optimised jet-fan layout. At the moment I only have basic architectural sketches, so your first task will be to translate those outlines into a clean 3-D model suitable for simulation (AutoCAD, Revit or similar—use whichever you are fastest with). The objectives are threefold: • Prove that fresh air and smoke are cleared efficiently throughout the entire volume. • Identify a fan configuration that minimises power draw without compromising performance. • Document that the design satisfies all applicable local safety codes for enclosed car parks. Please run steady-state and, if necessary, transient scenarios in Fluent, FDS, OpenFOAM or an equivalent solver you are comfortable with. I expect clear visualisations of velocity, pressure, temperature and contaminant concentration, plus a concise explanation of any design iterations you make along the way. Deliverables 1. Native CFD files + exportable geometry. 2. A PDF report summarising methodology, key plots, compliance notes and energy calculations. 3. Final jet-fan placement drawings with specifications (diameter, flow rate, orientation, mounting height). 4. A short hand-over call or video walk-through so my MEP contractor can pick up the model without friction. Acceptance will be based on stable convergence, meeting the target air-change rate and demonstrating code compliance in the worst-case smoke scenario.
