I need to connect a CMIS-compliant repository to our SAP HANA landscape so all corporate content can be stored, indexed and retrieved directly from HANA-based applications. My immediate focus is solid document management—upload, metadata capture, full-text search and dependable version storage—surfacing through standard CMIS calls and SAP services. Scope of work • Assess the current HANA setup (on-prem S/4 core + XS Advanced) and recommend the best CMIS repository or connector. • Map document metadata to HANA tables/views and expose it via OData or native SQL as required by existing apps. • Configure authentication to honour our existing SSO (SAML/LDAP). • Build and test the end-to-end integration: repository ↔ CMIS layer ↔ SAP HANA. • Provide concise deployment documentation and a short knowledge-transfer session for my internal team. Acceptance criteria 1. A user can store and retrieve a document from HANA UX and see the same item inside the CMIS repository with all metadata intact. 2. Full-text search returns identical results whether executed from SAP HANA or the repository UI. 3. All actions log correctly in both systems’ audit trails. Should we later decide to add workflow automation or enhanced version control, I’d value guidance on the best approach, but for now the deliverable above is enough to start. I’m ready to kick off as soon as we agree on a work plan and timeline.
