We are looking for a System Engineer with a lot of experience in the field of High Availability platforms. We need a Linux webcluster environment using "Linux Virtual Server" and a databasecluster environment using "MySQL cluster". We prefer CentOS 5 or RHEL 5 for all servers. You will get remote access to all servers through DRAC cards. This means you will have full control over the servers and you are able to install the OS from a remote location. We also want you to test the entire setup together with our own engineers once you've finished configuring it.
We will provide 2 servers for setting up an active and passive Load Balancer with LVS. The passive Load Balancer should automatically take over once the active Load Balancer fails.
We will provide 4 servers for setting up as web/application servers.
We will provide 2 servers for setting up as the SQL nodes of the MySQL cluster setup
We will provide 4 servers for setting up as the Data nodes of the MySQL cluster setup
Besides this setup we also need a Zmanda Recovery Manager setup for backup and recovery of the MySQL cluster.
Also we need a monitoring and alerting system to be set up that fully monitors all hardware, os and software components of all the servers. Also it needs to create graphs and it needs to send out alerts when thresholds are exceeded. We prefer Zenoss for all this.
