Web Application QA & Test Design

I need a detail-oriented QA engineer to take full ownership of testing my web application. The scope covers functionality, user-interface behavior, and performance, so I expect you to think beyond simple happy-path clicks and dig into edge cases, cross-browser quirks, and page-load bottlenecks. You will create the entire test suite from scratch—writing a clear test plan, designing individual test cases, and, where practical, automating repeatable checks (Selenium, Cypress or a similar framework is fine). Once the plan is approved, run the tests, document every defect with steps to reproduce, screenshots or videos, and track them through resolution. Acceptance criteria • Comprehensive test plan and traceable test cases delivered in a shareable format (xlsx, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.). • All functionality, UI, and performance findings logged with severity, environment details, and reproducible evidence. • Final test summary report showing pass/fail status, open issues, and recommendations for improvement.
