Digital Marketing Expert / Trainer with strategic thinking and tactical skills

We are a self-development company that is preparing to scale and we would like to understand what changes need to be made to our marketing program in order make that happen. The project will involve consultation aspects, training aspects and some implementation. The desired person is an experienced marketing subject matter expert who has mastered both the strategic and tactical aspects of digital marketing. This person is also an expert in brand development, e-commerce including affiliate programs and the business mechanics of scaling. Must be an expert in marketing automation tools, optimizing Google and Facebook ads, SEO, indexability, and must have worked with Wix, Wordpress and Infusionsoft to the extent that you are aware of the strengths and weaknesses of these platforms in relation to our goals. If you have a systems thinking and design mindset you are probably a good fit.

If our team is able to realize results based on your recommendations, we may enlist you for future projects. The job will be performed remotely over a maximum of 5 days of working closely and intensely with our team to co-create our supercharged marketing program. It would not be advisable to be working on other projects while working with us.

Our goal:

To improve our current online marketing strategy and implementation (content, social, SEO, website, advertising) in order to ramp up online course sales and sell out live events while steadily increasing brand awareness

To enhance the team's capabilities in the above areas

Timeframe and Process:

Discovery - Day 1- Initial conversation to discuss, ask questions, get aligned, determine how we will measure success of the next few days as well as success of the implemented changes and prepare an action plan for days 2 and 3 (you will know best where we should start)

Improvements - Day 2 - We are screen-sharing and making changes together as we go through the site and tools in accordance with the plan. You are explaining your rationale, pointing out pitfalls, identifying missed opportunities. You are also documenting these changes and any instructions and insights to take back to the rest of the team. We are capturing any baseline data that will be used to determine the impact of these interventions.

Improvements - Day 3 - Similar to Day 2

Solutioning and Roadmapping - Day 4 - Now that you have seen what we have, you will know who we are, what we want to achieve, and where the gaps are. You will put together an assessment of our current state. What are our strengths, weaknesses, what capabilities do we lack that will have significant impact, where are we wasting our efforts. You will have been documenting this since day 1. Now it's time to help us move forward. You will make recommendations regarding (but not limited to) strategy, tools, processes or solutions that were not implementable in the last 2 days, customer research, customer journey - please have a holistic mindset and bear in mind that we will be interested in practical but truly transformative input here.
