I’m looking for an experienced stitching master who can handle women’s wear on a freelance basis to start, with the possibility of moving into a long-term role once we see how well we work together. At the moment I have an ongoing queue of custom orders that range from casual day pieces to occasion outfits, so versatility is important. Your day-to-day work will focus on cutting, sewing, finishing, and pressing garments to a boutique standard. Much of the collection is produced in cotton, linen, silk, and satin, so you must already be comfortable handling those fabrics—achieving crisp seams on natural fibres and clean, fluid lines on delicate silks is essential. Interpreting patterns and adjustments from client measurements comes up frequently, so accuracy and a good eye for fit are just as critical as speed. I’ll supply patterns, fabric, and notions; you’ll provide the machines, workspace, and professional skill. Each completed piece should arrive pressed, trimmed, and ready for final fitting. If the partnership goes smoothly and orders continue to grow, we can discuss a permanent position or retainer arrangement down the line. If you can deliver beautifully constructed women’s garments, especially in cotton, linen, silk, and satin, I’d love to see samples of your past work and hear when you can begin.
