We are looking for a senior lead developer to complete an initial controlled technical assessment of three connected parts of an existing luxury e-commerce system. Any repair work would be quoted, approved and contracted separately after the assessment. 1. An existing Python product and inventory scraper that collects permitted public product, price, variant and availability information from a UK luxury retailer and synchronises it with Shopify. It involves pagination, variants, duplicate control, scheduled runs, proxy/IP considerations, APIs and cloud hosting. 2. An existing custom Shopify checkout using the Revolut Merchant API and Cloudflare Workers. It requires secure server-side payment verification, amount and currency checking, duplicate-payment protection, Shopify order creation, refund handling and controlled production testing. 3. An existing internal business system, DLH-OS, involving APIs, databases, automation and AI-related features. We prefer one lead developer who can understand all three systems together. Please clearly state any part you cannot personally handle. The existing architecture should be assessed and preserved where practical. We are not seeking an automatic rebuild. The first stage will be a detailed technical conversation. If we decide to proceed, the paid assessment must be read-only, time-limited and separately agreed. No live changes, deployments, credentials or production access will be provided during initial screening. Please answer all of the following: 1. Describe your direct experience building or repairing production Python scrapers involving product variants, pagination, inventory updates, scheduling and proxy/IP issues. 2. Describe your direct experience with Shopify Admin APIs, custom checkout systems and external payment-provider APIs. 3. Have you developed Cloudflare Workers? Give a specific example. 4. How would you independently verify payment status, amount and currency before creating a paid Shopify order? 5. How would you prevent the same payment from creating duplicate orders? 6. Describe your experience with refunds and Shopify order synchronisation. 7. Can you inspect and repair an existing connected system rather than rebuilding it? 8. Will you personally perform the work? Disclose any team members or subcontractors. 9. Provide links or evidence for the most relevant completed projects. 10. Quote separately for a controlled read-only technical assessment and for any later repair work. Do not combine them into one unclear price. Generic proposals that do not answer these questions will not be considered. No access or work is authorised merely by submitting a proposal.

The real risk here is not whether each part works in isolation, but whether the scraper, custom checkout, and internal system are making assumptions that break sync, payment integrity, or order state once they interact. For an assessment like this, I would keep the current architecture intact, trace the data flow end to end, and identify where verification, idempotency, and scheduled processing are vulnerable before suggesting any repair path. I’ve worked on production Shopify API jobs, payment-provider integrations, and Python data-sync systems where variants, stock updates, pagination, duplicate control, cron scheduling, and hosted execution all had to be reviewed without jumping straight into a rebuild. I have also handled Cloudflare Worker logic for validation/routing layers and reviewed existing systems where preserving structure mattered more than replacing it. To keep this useful for you from the first pass, I would scope the assessment output clearly around findings, risk level, and recommended fixes. - For the paid read-only assessment, do you want a written report only, or a report plus a technical Q&A session through the platform? - Is the initial review meant to cover code plus architecture notes, or code only where available? - For DLH-OS, should the assessment focus mainly on API/database interactions tied to Shopify, or also the AI/automation layer?

The important part of your brief is the requirement to inspect and preserve an existing architecture rather than forcing a rebuild. For systems like this, the first job is usually to map trust boundaries: what the scraper is allowed to collect, how checkout verifies a real settled payment, and how Shopify and DLH-OS stay consistent when retries or partial failures happen. My background fits the mix you listed: Python scraping with pagination/variants/scheduling, Shopify API-based sync work, and troubleshooting custom ecommerce flows where payment providers, middleware, and internal systems all touch the same order lifecycle. I can work in an assessment-first mode and keep the first stage read-only, time-limited, and clearly separated from any repair proposal. If helpful, I can structure the assessment into scraper findings, checkout/payment findings, and internal-system integration findings so the next decision is easy. - Do you already have a preferred deliverable format for the assessment report? - For the scraper, is the concern mainly reliability, duplicate control, or compliance/rate-limit resilience? - For Shopify checkout, are refunds already partially implemented, or should that area be treated as unknown during review?

Read-only assessment in 4 days, checkout first: written payment-flow findings by day 2, then scraper and DLH-OS, then one report ranked by risk with file:line and a fix estimate each. 1. I built and run a scheduled scraper (every 3 min in market hours, MySQL store, Node API) and Python pipelines that page through APIs and retry partial downloads. Proxy rotation: I would assess yours, not claim it. 2. Shopify Admin API and Revolut Merchant API: no production work yet. I would review your code against their docs. 3. Cloudflare Pages yes, Workers not in production. 4. Never trust the browser. The Worker fetches the Revolut order by ID with the secret key, checks state COMPLETED, amount in minor units and currency against a server-side cart total, and verifies the webhook signature. 5. Revolut order ID as a unique key in an atomic store (Durable Object or D1, not KV) and on the Shopify order. Check before create, so retries return the first order. 6. Refunds: Revolut refund plus Shopify refundCreate, reconciled by the same ID. I would test this in sandbox only. 7. Yes. Assessment only, no rebuild, no live changes. 8. Me personally, no team or subcontractors. 9. Private repos, live screen-share walkthrough on request. 10. Bid amount is the assessment only. Repair is quoted later per fix, after you read the report. Question: does the Worker create the Shopify order from the webhook or from the browser redirect? Happy to start with the technical call. Thanks, Srinichal

Hello — I would assess the Python scraper, Revolut checkout on Cloudflare Workers, and DLH-OS as one connected Shopify risk chain. The main risks are variant stock drift, paid orders created before Revolut is verified, and duplicate payment/order records. - I can handle Python scraping: pagination, variants, stock deltas, schedules and proxy limits. - I can review Shopify Admin API orders, refunds, inventory sync and custom checkout. - Worker example: callback API verifies payment, stores an idempotency key, then calls Shopify. - You get a read-only architecture map, risk list, test plan and repair scope. I would verify Revolut status server-side, match amount, currency and reference, then create the Shopify order only after the idempotency check. I will work personally; no subcontractors, and no public link is safe to share for this private-system type. Assessment and repairs should be separate milestones after the technical call. Is the store Shopify Plus? Roman

Hello, I have experience with Python scrapers, Shopify APIs, custom checkout systems, payment gateways, Cloudflare Workers, and production automation. We can assess the existing architecture, verify scraper and inventory workflows, validate payment status, amount and currency server-side, prevent duplicate orders with transaction-level idempotency, and handle refunds and Shopify synchronisation without unnecessary rebuilding. I can personally handle the development and will keep the initial work strictly read-only and time-limited as requested. The technical assessment and any later repair work will be quoted separately, with relevant portfolio examples available on our profile.

The risky part here is not writing new code too early, but correctly tracing how the Python scraper, custom Revolut checkout, Cloudflare Workers, Shopify order flow, and DLH-OS interact before anyone touches production. My approach for stage one would be a read-only audit: review the scraper logic for variants/pagination/scheduling/proxy handling, inspect the payment-validation path, and map failure points such as duplicate order creation, currency mismatch, and sync drift. I’ve worked on Shopify Admin API integrations, custom payment and order workflows, cloud-hosted automation, and Python-based data collection systems where the real job was repairing an existing setup rather than replacing it. Cloudflare Workers experience includes request validation/middleware style logic for API handling and controlled server-side flows, and yes, I can personally handle the assessment myself. For the assessment, I’d deliver findings separately from any repair quote so the scope stays clean. - Will the paid assessment be based on shared code excerpts/repositories plus architecture notes, or only on a live walkthrough? - Do you want the stage-one output as a written risk report with repair priorities and estimated effort by subsystem? - For the Revolut flow, is the current Worker already responsible for payment verification before Shopify order creation, or is that split across services?

It must be exhausting trying to keep three complex systems in sync, especially when every detail from product data to secure payments needs to be perfect. I can see how risks like duplicate orders or unreliable syncing would be both frustrating and costly for a luxury e-commerce business. You can expect a clear, actionable assessment highlighting exactly what works, what needs attention, and how your current architecture can be preserved for stability. First, I will review the Python scraper and its connection to Shopify so that variant handling, scheduling, and proxy controls are all accounted for. Next, I will audit your custom checkout and payment flow, focusing on secure verification and duplicate detection. Finally, I will inspect how everything ties into your DLH-OS system. Is there any part of the workflow you feel is especially urgent or sensitive right now?

Hi, I'm a Senior Full-Stack Developer specializing in Python and e-commerce. I can personally handle all three systems. 1. Scrapers: Built robust Python scrapers for luxury retail & many stores/websites using Playwright/BS4, handling pagination, variants, proxies, and Redis deduplication with anti-detection logic. 2. Shopify/Payments: Extensive experience with Shopify Admin APIs and custom checkouts. Integrated Stripe/PayPal server-side with secure verification. 3. Cloudflare Workers: Deployed for edge filtering and API middleware to reduce latency. 4. Verification: Call the Revolut API server-side to confirm COMPLETED status, matching amount/currency to cart before order creation. 5. Duplicates: Use idempotency keys via Revolut transaction ID and check existing Shopify orders by external reference. 6. Refunds: Webhook listeners trigger Shopify refund APIs on Revolut reversals, syncing inventory/finance. 7. Repair: I audit and repair existing architectures, preserving sound logic and refactoring only broken modules. 8. Personal Work: I handle 100% of the work myself. But may escalate to some of my friends if that's needed. 9. Portfolio: Will share demos of the recent projects I worked on privately because they're for private clients. 10. Quote: $150 fixed for read-only technical assessment (PDF report). Repair work quoted post-audit separately. Ready for an initial technical chat. Any specific scraper error logs? Let's discuss the project in more detail.

Hey As per description, I have excellent experience with production Python scrapers (pagination, variants, scheduling, proxy rotation) and Shopify Admin API work including custom checkouts tied to external payment gateways. Built/repaired scrapers tracking variants and stock across paginated catalogs, scheduled via cron/cloud functions, using rotating proxies to avoid blocks. Comfortable with Shopify Admin API for orders and inventory sync, plus custom checkout flows with external payment providers. Yes, built Cloudflare Workers for API middleware and webhook verification, similar to what this Revolut layer needs. Verify server-side against Revolut's API directly, checking status, amount, and currency before creating the Shopify order, never trusting a client-side callback. Duplicate protection via an idempotency key tied to the payment reference, checked before order creation runs. Comfortable syncing refunds back to Shopify order status so both stay consistent. Yes, I prefer inspecting and preserving working architecture over rebuilding. I would personally perform the work, no subcontractors. Happy to share relevant examples in the technical conversation. Read-only assessment quoted separately, around £80 to £120 depending on complexity. Repair work quoted only after that assessment. On DLH-OS, I would need to understand its API and automation scope before confirming that part. Plesae ping to discuss the requirement timeframe and the budget also. Thanks!!!

Hello, I can personally lead the controlled, read-only assessment of the connected Shopify, Python scraper, Revolut payment, Cloudflare Workers, and internal-system components. I will document findings without live changes, distinguish confirmed risks from assumptions, and preserve the current architecture wherever practical. The assessment would separately cover scraper pagination, variants, inventory, scheduling, duplicate control, proxy/IP handling, Shopify Admin API flows, payment verification, idempotency, refunds, order synchronization, Workers security, and DLH-OS integration boundaries. I would also state clearly which areas I can handle directly, disclose any collaborators, and provide relevant evidence or links. I will quote the assessment separately from any approved repair work. A useful improvement would be a written control matrix mapping each payment and synchronization failure mode to its verification and recovery path. I understand that submitting a proposal authorizes neither access nor implementation. I can begin with the technical conversation and agree a time-limited assessment scope afterward. Regards Muhammad

Hello, The biggest risk I see is silent payment mismatches and duplicate order creation when a Cloudflare Workers edge layer returns success before server-side verification completes. That single failure mode cascades into inventory drift and refund churn across Shopify and DLH-OS. I have repaired live Python scrapers that handled complex product variants, multi-page pagination and inventory deltas while running on cloud infrastructure with scheduled jobs and proxy rotation. I have also led projects that integrated external payment-provider APIs into custom checkout flows and tied those flows back into internal order systems and accounting databases. My background as a senior software engineer and CTO gives me a practical focus on preserving working architecture while removing single points of failure. I propose a short technical call to map where server-side verification currently runs, inspect the scraper scheduling and proxy setup, and confirm the boundaries between Shopify, Revolut Merchant API and DLH-OS. First step on a paid assessment would be a read-only walkthrough of code, configuration and logs to produce a prioritized risk list and remediation plan. - Would you prefer a 60 minute deep-dive or two 30 minute focused sessions to cover scraper, checkout, and DLH-OS separately? - Can you provide temporary read-only access to the Cloudflare Workers scripts, Shopify Admin API logs, and a recent scraper run log for the assessment? Hey, this is exactly the kind of layered project worth doing carefully - three connected systems, and the last thing you need is someone itching to rebuild instead of understanding what's already working. Part 1 (scraper + Shopify sync): solid ground for me. I've built and maintained production Python scrapers handling pagination, variant matching, dedup logic, and scheduled runs against sites with real anti-bot protection (Cloudflare, Akamai, PerimeterX), using rotating proxies (Webshare/IPRoyal) and cloud-hosted scheduling. Comfortable diagnosing why an existing scraper is breaking rather than rewriting it blind. Part 2 (Revolut checkout + Cloudflare Workers) and Part 3 (DLH-OS): I have solid backend/API and database experience, but being upfront rather than oversell - I haven't personally shipped a Revolut Merchant API integration or a Cloudflare Worker before. I'd want to walk through your existing code live before claiming I can safely touch it. If that's a hard requirement for those two, better we know now than after screening. Happy to start with the technical call and figure out honestly where I fit, then quote the read-only assessment and any later repair work separately, as you asked. What's the current live order volume through the checkout?
