I own a webshop store in Denmark where we sell a variety of "hardware store" items. Things for plumbers, carpenters, but also for "normal" people who are looking to renovate their house or apartment. We have approximately 4000 products, which all come from different vendors and different locations, although some are just from our own warehouse. For this reason, we need to develop a customised shipping method so that we can give our products custom prices. For example, some of our vendors give a flat rate of 90 DKR, so we need to be able to do this without it having to be by messing with the weights of the products. Furthermore, we need to be able to pick which shipping carriers each product can use. For example, vendor shipping should just be called "shipping" whilst some products from our warehouse can go to a 'pakkeshop' (drop off point), some 'shipping to home' and some 'shipping to company' etc etc. So we would like to be able to choose which shipping carrier is available for any given product.
We are running on Shopify and we are integrated with [login to view URL] for shipping, which we would like to stay with - we just need some back-office work so that we can customise our shipping a bit more.
