Shopify Redesign for [login to view URL] (Empire theme) — Homepage, Collections, PDP Project Overview We operate [login to view URL], a Shopify store. The site has become overly customized and cluttered. We want a clean, modern rebuild of the homepage, collection (product group) pages, and product detail pages. Keep our brand colors and logo; everything else can be redesigned. Note: We currently promote a red “Fassadendämmung” lead form. This should be removed/ignored in the new homepage. We’re using the Empire theme and are open to expert recommendations on optimizing it (or proposing a justified alternative). Scope of Work • UX/UI redesign from scratch for Homepage, Collections, and Product Detail Pages (mobile-first). • Navigation & IA overhaul: significantly improve the main menu, hierarchy, and findability. • Empire theme customization (Online Store 2.0 sections/blocks, templates, metafields). • Performance & accessibility best practices (lean apps, clean code, Core Web Vitals friendly). • Content handling: migrate essentials (copy/images) and provide placeholders where needed. • QA & testing across major devices and browsers. Deliverables • Wireframes + high-fidelity designs (Figma or similar). • Navigation/menu proposal with improved structure. • Implemented theme in a Shopify duplicate/dev theme ready for launch. • Mini style guide (keeping our colors & logo) with typography and key components. • Testing checklist & change log. Constraints • Do keep: our existing brand colors and logo. • Do not include: the red façade insulation lead form. What We’re Looking For • A long-term UX/UI partner with strong Shopify experience (Empire theme a plus). • Proven e-commerce UX results; DIY/paints/building materials experience is a bonus. • Solid grasp of Online Store 2.0, performance, accessibility, and CRO. Please Include in Your Proposal • 3–5 live Shopify examples (before/after if available). • A brief approach & timeline (audit → IA → wireframes → design → build → QA). • Fixed-price quote for this scope + what’s included, and your hourly rate for ongoing work. • The tools you use (Figma, Jira/Asana, Git, etc.). • Any recommendations for the Empire theme vs. alternatives. Budget: Please propose. Start: As soon as possible. Language: English (German skills are a plus). We’re aiming for a polished, fast, and conversion-focused relaunch—and a partner to support our larger backlog after this project.
