Lean Six Sigma Consultant Required – Factory Layout Design (Onsite – India) Job Description We are looking for an experienced Lean Six Sigma Consultant to support a factory layout optimization project for a manufacturing facility in India. The consultant will be responsible for designing an efficient Lean manufacturing layout to improve workflow, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. This assignment requires onsite presence at the factory location, where the consultant will analyze current processes, material flow, and operational constraints to develop an optimized layout aligned with Lean principles. Key Responsibilities: Study the existing factory layout, process flow, and material movement Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and non-value-added activities Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to redesign the layout Develop an optimized factory layout with improved workflow and space utilization Recommend improvements in material flow, workstation positioning, and inventory movement Provide layout drawings, recommendations, and implementation guidance Requirements: Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma projects Experience in factory layout design and plant optimization Knowledge of value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction Preferably Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt certified Experience in manufacturing environments such as automotive, engineering, electronics, or process industries Ability to work onsite in India for the duration of the project Deliverables: Current state analysis Value Stream Mapping (if required) Optimized Lean factory layout Recommendations for workflow improvement and productivity enhancement Project Type: Project-based / Short-term consulting assignment Location: Onsite – India To Apply: Interested consultants should submit: Brief profile and relevant experience Examples of similar factory layout or Lean transformation projects Availability and proposed consulting charges
