I'm an author and designer looking for a virtual assistant to help with me with my business. I'm looking for part-time to start, transitioning to full time after three months. Three successful candidates will be shortlisted and assigned (paid) tasks. The best candidate will then be selected and hired based on performance and turn around time. IMPORTANT: As an author, I write erotica, romance, and gay and lesbian works. You MUST be able to work with these subject matters without hesitation and with maturity and respect as part of the job involves researching things like gay romance bloggers and researching information on the top 100 gay romance books on Amazon. To ensure that you understand this part, please write "I understand you write erotica, romance, and gay and lesbian fiction" as the opening line on your cover letter. Tasks included are: - Market research - Fact-finding/checking - Minor data entry - Managing social media accounts - Calendar management - Mailing list emails - Review blog submissions - Contest and promo maintenance The pay rate for this position is $2.50 to $5, depending on your experience, with quarterly pay raises based on performance. I'm looking to hire quickly. Interviews will be held on August 13 between 12PM to 3PM EST, and those who are shortlisted will be notified the following day.
