We require a system that can assimilate the records from an Oracle database and then allow users to append attachments and data to each record. The purpose of this task is to absorb the information from our travel platform and then allow travel consultants to attach invoices and label each sale for managers and accounts to check before invoicing the customer.
The system must be able to import data from our travel platform (oracle database)
This creates records for each row
The system emails the users the inform them that records have been added that contain them as a reference
Users log on and see all records that have their name (tickets they have booked)
Users can append information to the records such as pdf attachments, Email excerpts, Plain Text etc.
Once user hits submit, the record is updated with the added details
Once a day an email is sent to management to approve all added records
Once approved, accounts view the records to invoice customers accordingly
There are 4 types of users on the system:
Admin - Able to access all information and settings for users, reports and manual record changes
Consultant - The Travel Consultant who booked the ticket and can only edit records to add data.
Manager - Able to manual import data into the system from an excel sheet. Also has access to approval screen to approve each entry from the Users
Accounts - Very similar to manager, without access to import data.
