I effectively have two tasks that I need completed:
Quasi-replication of Excel's MATCH() and OFFSET() functions in Python/pandas.
An example of what I want to replicate is in the Excel sheet attached, as well as in the picture attached. Note that both of these function need to look forward in the dataframe, as opposed to backwards, as in pandas .rolling() functionality.
The solution does not have to be a function, but it does have to be robust (i.e. operational over 1,000,000 rows), accurate, and preserve the original dataframe.
To be clear, the only functionality I need is for the columns highlighted - in other words, Columns D and E are unnecessary and extraneous, and I don't wish to have them in the final Python script, unless they are necessary.
Recreation of pandas now-deprecated rolling() regression functionality for multivariate linear regressions.
I believe this has been deprecated, but it appears still listed in the pandas documentation. If it is still functional, this task should be easy, I just need to see how to use it. Otherwise, I have a sample available for the script I need.
The function will need to produce all of the descriptive statistics included in statsmodels.py.
I would like to have both of these tasks completed as a single job. For completion of the combination of these two jobs, I'm going to post a fixed price of $80. If you have interest at that price, or at another price point, please let me know,
