Shipstation Multi Package Script

We require our Shipstation app to automatically add additional packages to orders.
There should be one package for every item in the order.
For example if the customer orders 2 items then the order will be set to have 2 packages. 6 items = 6 packages etc. Every package will have the same weight and dimensions.
There is no way to do this automatically so it will require a custom script. This would be a good starting point as it explains how to do something similar and provides the open source code:
