Greetings, I have vast WinSock and VC++ (C++ on Windows) experience. PLease send me your code, and I will take a look at the code , and: a) add logging for all important parts of the code and b) look in to fixing you bug , no worries. The solution MAY(but not necessarily).. invole the use of a thread/process synchronisation primitive, to synchornise the Port Lister's thread/process with any parent/child/consumer threads(in order to avoid threads/prcesses shutting early and leaving orphan threads behind). I.e. the DESIGN of the software needs to change, in order to for the thing to function as intended - possibly... Cheers
