En un sistema en producción el riesgo real no está en agregar campos, sino en los registros históricos: renombrar un campo o cambiar un rango puede dejar informes antiguos sin poder regenerarse, o hacer que un `select` descarte en silencio un valor que ya no existe en la lista. Por eso trabajaría sobre una copia de la base real en un entorno de pruebas, revisando cada cambio contra datos históricos antes de tocar producción, y los cambios de nomenclatura los haría con un barrido completo (código, vistas, plantillas PDF, exportaciones) marcando archivo por archivo, no solo donde salta a la vista. Los campos nuevos se agregan con migraciones reversibles y valores por defecto para que ningún registro anterior quede inválido. Sobre respaldos: verificaría que efectivamente se puedan restaurar haciendo una restauración de prueba — un backup marcado "exitoso" que nunca se probó no es un respaldo. Entrego cada ajuste probado y documentado, con respaldo previo a cada despliegue. Puedo empezar de inmediato apenas me den acceso al código.

Al renombrar campos, cambiaría solo el nombre que ven los usuarios, no cómo se guardan los datos. Con el detalle de cada cambio, los tendría listos en 3 días y publicados el fin de semana. Puedo empezar hoy, con más de 40 horas semanales para esto. El primer hito serían los formularios, y lo liberan solo cuando todo funcione. El sistema está en un servidor propio o en un hosting contratado?
