Job Title: SAP ABAP Technical Team Lead Location: Bangalore Experience: Minimum 8–10 years Employment Type: Subcon, we will do rebadging (payroll transfer) Job Summary: We are looking for a seasoned SAP ABAP Technical Team Lead with 8–10 years of experience to lead a team of developers in delivering high-quality SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ABAP development, quality checks, and modern SAP technologies including OData, Fiori, CDS Views, AMDP, APIs, and integrations. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, ensuring adherence to development standards and best practices. Design, develop, and implement custom SAP ABAP solutions including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows. Conduct thorough ABAP code quality checks and reviews to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability. Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Develop and support OData services, Fiori applications, CDS views, and AMDP procedures. Integrate SAP systems with external applications using APIs and other integration technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, etc.). Manage project deliverables, timelines, and ensure successful deployment of solutions. Provide technical leadership during SAP upgrades, migrations, and transformation initiatives. Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and promote continuous improvement within the team. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. Strong proficiency in classical and object-oriented ABAP, ALV reporting, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements. Proven experience in OData services, SAP Fiori, CDS views, AMDP, and API-based integrations. Solid understanding of SAP modules like MM, SD, FI and their technical integration points. Experience with ABAP code quality tools and performance optimization techniques. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus. Preferred Certifications: SAP ABAP Certification SAP S/4HANA Technical Certification (preferred)
