I have fifteen disassembled original first generation "cigalike" e-cigarettes waiting for fresh new cells. The spent batteries still have to come out; I’ll supply the brand-new replacements along with step-by-step instructions I’ve written from my own repair notes. Once each cell is tinned and soldered, the board and wiring need to slide back into the original metal tubes that I will ship with the lot. After reassembly I need every unit verified for both firing (making sure the LED end eliminates, and it produces vapor,) and charging. A simple functional puff/hit-to-vape check is the first pass, then confirmation that each battery takes and holds a charge using a charging USB that I will provide. If anything reads off, I’d like a quick note so we can decide whether to rework that unit before final shipment. All parts, tubes, new batteries, the charger, and detailed instructions will be provided; you’ll only need your fine-tip soldering setup, flux, heat shrink, and the usual safety gear for small lithium-ion packs. Because of eyesight due to diabetes, and unsteady hands due to neuropathy now slow me down, I’m looking to hand this over within a modest budget but with the same care I’ve always applied myself. Deliverables: • 15 e-cigarettes cleaned at solder areas, re-soldered, re-tubed, and cosmetically intact. • Pass report showing both activation, and successful charge on the charger for every unit. • Any notes on anomalies or rework carried out. Ship the finished devices back to me once they all clear the checklist and we’re done. Thanks in advance for helping me keep these vapes alive.

With 15 first-gen “cigalike” units, the job is more than swapping parts: it’s careful, repeatable micro-soldering, safe handling of Li-ion cells, and a verification pass that confirms both function and charging. I’ll remove the spent batteries, prep and tin each cell area, solder the new cells exactly per your repair notes, then slide the board/wiring back into your original metal tubes without pinching leads. Once reassembled, I’ll run a two-stage checklist per device: (1) activation—LED end behavior and a first puff/vape confirmation for vapor production; (2) charging—USB charging test with charge acceptance/hold confirmation using the charger you provide. Any abnormal readings or misbehavior will be documented with quick notes so you can decide whether to rework before shipment. I’ll ensure each unit is cleaned at solder points, cosmetically intact, and protected with heat-shrink where needed. You’ll receive all 15 working devices plus a pass report covering firing and charging outcomes. If you share the shipment window and any photos of the disassembly steps, I can begin and confirm timelines today.

I can replace the failed “cells” in 15 first-gen cigalike units with careful, repeatable fine-tip soldering. You’ll provide the brand-new replacements, the original metal tubes for reassembly, your step-by-step notes, and all consumables will be limited to what I bring: precision soldering tools, flux, heat-shrink, and safety gear suitable for small lithium-ion work. Scope: remove spent batteries, tin the cell connections, solder each new cell to the existing board/wiring, and slide the assembly back into the provided metal tubes while preserving alignment and cosmetics. I’ll also clean solder areas before work so joints are reliable and consistent across all 15. Quality control: each unit gets a two-part verification—(1) firing check ensuring the LED end illuminates and the device produces vapor, (2) charging check using your USB charger to confirm the battery accepts and holds charge. Any anomalies (e.g., charge instability, abnormal LED behavior, or inconsistent puff response) will be documented so you can decide on rework before final shipment.

Checklist to succeed: I need you to ship the 15 first-gen “cigalike” tubes + disassembled bodies, the 15 brand-new replacement cells, your written step-by-step repair notes, and the USB charging setup you want used. Please include any tube/connector details so the board slides back consistently. Also confirm any brand/model of each cell if available. I’ll remove spent batteries, clean/tin the solder pads, and install fresh cells with fine-tip soldering, correct flux, and heat-shrink where needed to secure wiring. I’ll keep the units cosmetically intact and ensure the board/wiring re-enters the original metal tubes smoothly, matching your reassembly guidance. Verification: after reassembly, each device will get (1) firing check—LED end behavior + visible vapor on a controlled puff/hit-to-vape test, and (2) charging check—confirmation every unit both charges from your USB and holds charge. I’ll log pass/fail plus any anomalies (e.g., unstable readings, poor contact) so you can decide whether to rework before shipment. Send the lot and notes; I’ll start immediately and return all 15 with a complete per-unit pass report.
