AWS Spring Boot Microservices Development

I need an experienced engineer to take full ownership of designing and implementing eight Spring Boot microservices that will run as AWS Lambda functions and be exposed through API Gateway. Each service must authenticate requests through a custom Lambda Authorizer, persist data in MySQL RDS, and retrieve all sensitive configurations from AWS Secrets Manager. This is not a green-field environment. The new services must integrate cleanly with my current SQL-based internal databases, so attention to schema mapping and data consistency is essential. I will provide connection details and table documentation once the project kicks off. Key deliverables • Eight production-ready Spring Boot microservices, each packaged for Lambda • A working Lambda Authorizer wired into API Gateway routes • RDS MySQL schema scripts and migration files • Secrets Manager configuration for database credentials and any API keys • Terraform / CloudFormation or a clear deployment script that spins up all resources (Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, IAM, Secrets) • Postman or OpenAPI (Swagger) collection covering every endpoint with sample requests and expected responses • Integration with our existing SQL databases verified through end-to-end tests Acceptance criteria 1. All services deploy through a single command or pipeline and pass automated unit and integration tests. 2. Calling any endpoint through API Gateway returns the correct data while enforcing the Lambda Authorizer token. 3. No plaintext secrets are stored in code, logs, or environment variables. 4. Performance under a load of 100 req/s per service maintains p95 latency below 300 ms.
