Hi, I've done this a few times so I will the follow these steps: 1) Gather requirements from case study. 2) Create Entity-Relational model and add entities based on requirements. 3) Define primary keys and foreign keys. 4) Define attributes and their data type. 5) Apply normalization rules 6) Send ER model for review 7) Once ER model is signed off, I will apply model to preferred RDBMS and generate scripts Delivery time will depend on requirements size and complexity but I would say 1st draft could be generated within the first 5 days once requirements have been gathered.
