I am a licensed engineer (Texas/Mississippi P.E.) with over 7 years of experience in structural engineering of low-rise buildings among others. I have developed new & retrofit designs for roof trusses before using timber and light-gauge steel, so I believe I'll be helpful on this matter. I'll need any information on the imposed loads and the building jurisdiction (i.e. state building code) to determine the necessary roof loading on the individual truss assembly and subsequent reactions on the walls. Any additional information can be exchanged through private messaging or email. Although, I have bid 3 days for the deliverable, all efforts will be made to deliver the recommendations much sooner than that which is listed.
