We run a legitimate UK internet service platform that send out activation mails for users to verify their registration.
While we spent a fortune on promotion and marketing (exhibitions, newspapers, magazines & via post), we have one massive problem:
Most of the emails that are sent to major e-mail providers (Hotmail, BTconnect, etc) never actually reach our client.
Don't get me wrong here, but it's not the SPF records or anything. We're not blacklisted anywhere as the only type of mail we have sent out till today has been the account activation links for the newly registered (i checked many databases and our IP does not appear on any of them).
So what can we do about this?
I am looking for a guru who has exception ability with mail servers (I am seeking for a real expert. Direct contact has to be established, not just relying on the text form. This is not a fun page or anything, but a proper commercial page to whom e-mail contact is vital)
I need someone who actually knows what to do or sees what is wrong when he looks at the server's technical settings and the e-mails that are being sent out.
Someone who has backup-ideas, i.e. methods to get on the whitelist.
I need issues like open-relay, etc. to be adressed
