I am a Msc Chemistry student at IIT BOMBAY and I've been tutoring ever since my 12th standard...thus i have ~3 years of teaching experience. I personally have believed in providing students the concepts to understand science and not simply overpractise with 100% memorisation leading to only secure high grades...the one on one/group session engagement works quite well for me where apart from providing lecture summarization notes to the students, i would also like to help them write their own notes, repeat the concepts with me and answer a very few fundamental questions at the end of the session based on the discussion(this has always been my teaching style), I would also be able to help them complete their homework, understand problems when there is a difficult one and also be confidently prepared for upcoming tests.
