To start off, I appreciate the nature of this post is somewhat sensitive and could be offensive. I'm sorry in advance, but my intention is not to offend. But there’s an unpleasant problem when it comes to recruiting in the Asian market, and the first step to solving a problem is clearing the air and being radically honest in defining it. So my intention is not to offend but to come up with a solution that would benefit everyone.
For the record: I have been to India many times and I love Indian culture. Both my business started in India and during this process had great experiences and developed great relationships.
I run a remote recruitment agency for international candidates. In the past few years, my clients started refusing to hire candidates from India, Pakistan, and other Asian countries. The reason is that there are major cultural disconnects and communication challenges.
I for one believe that there are plenty of Indians and Asians that are not only spectacular programmers but do understand North American culture and would fit in great. What I'm looking for is an amazing technical IT recruiter or even a manager that has the eye for the right talent and the right North American culture fit. This is not an easy job but I know someone can join my team who can help me prove that Indians - and Asians in general - are a great choice for international recruitment.
We are an amazing company to work with a great team and truly figured out how to maintain an amazing work culture remotely. We employ people from India to Portugal to Ecuador and we are on a mission to make North American businesses understand that talent knows no borders. Join us and be a part of this mission! Let’s give the fantastic people in the Indian and Asian tech industry the amazing opportunities they deserve!

Preferably lived and worked in North America or the UK at some point
