I am using Unreal Engine and using meshes as ragdolls. In VR mode, I can get the character to react if I hit it with my fists in VR mode. However I don't have enough of an understanding to have the character get back up in a natural way so I can attack it again. Even in non-VR mode is ok because I could adapt it. So, basically I am looking for a straightforward explanation on how to achieve this. You can give it to me in step by step directions in a written file, or make a video. Please feel free to ask any questions. It must be in the Unreal Engine 4 also, not another game engine. No C++, blueprint or a simpler way only.
I wanted to add some extra info that will make it alot more specific and easy to understand what i am asking for. Probably the best way would be for you to make a video, preferably when you are in vr mode in the unreal engine in the map that allows you to you use the motion controllers as your fist. show that you can punch the enemy and that the enemy reacts to the punches accurately, ie if i punch the face, the face should swing back or the arm and the arm move back, and if I knock the character down, that the character can get back up , not abruptly, but in some animated sort of way. if you make a video of that, that will be the best way to get this project, and then you can provide me with the project and explain to me how it was achieved. i really don't want to use animation blueprints for this, so if possible have it so that I can very easily use it for any character.
