This is a fairly straightforward task for the seasoned Blender specialist. I haven't mastered the ability to select an object by material and separate in the Outliner panel, and looks more trouble than it is worth with me.
There are three (3) Blender files of free 3D models (a radio receiver, a wrist watch, and a car. Each has materials grouped together for a single object. I need multiple objects with a material to appear (and named correctly).
The car has the most number of different materials for various parts. Question: Could it be simplified? The only things I need to animate are the headlights, tail lights, and wheels.
The only other request, if I could make it, is in the wrist watch model: Can you separate the hour, minutes and seconds arms on the clock as independent objects for animation? Just assign any material name to they will pick up in Elements 3D.
I attach the files (as they are all freely available online).,
