A report in the scope of about 3000 words is required describing the structure and project outcomes. The purpose of the report is to convey to a client the benefits of utilising Green BIM to deliver the proposed project, presentation of your initial analysis of the proposed building and the key conclusions of interest to the client. A BIM authoring tool, Archicad or Revit, to create a simple structure in preparation for energy analyses. Either gbXML or IFC 2X3 can be used as an interoperable file format for integration with IES and an explanation of why you made this choice and validate your output in correlation with your chosen file type. It will also be a record of how you have prepared the design and modelling data. Proposals for further analysis of the building will be required and indicate which aspects of the design will need particular design development. The main body of the report should be written in such a way that it can be easily understood by a client. Screenshots of the steps taken through the energy analysis should form the main body of the report with a brief description of the key steps taken during the energy assessment.
