Seeking mock mental health counseling session clients. As a student counselor, I need people to practice on. The sessions will be over video and be one hour each. You can make up all the information, but each session must be based on a mental health issue. Relationship/life/addiction problems are not part of the job but of course they can't be touched upon. No acting ability is required but try to make the sessions fairly realistic, please. You also MUST be fluent in English, have a good Internet connection/webcam/mike, be at least 26 years old, not neurologically impaired, and have a positive, professional attitude. If the first session goes well, I'll probably do 2 more sessions. Confidentiality guaranteed. The sessions will not be recorded in any way or transcribed. Please don't use "real" problems of yours. Past mock clients have played the 'real problem' card in order to misbehave and not cooperate with the sessions.

From there I'll run the 60-minute role play, pause for midpoint calibration if needed, then debrief with a concise client persona and behavioral notes so you can see why responses unfolded that way — that sequence ensures realism and useful feedback. I've done this using structured client scripting and motivational interviewing techniques, and the thing that actually moves the needle is matching micro-behaviors and emotional consistency rather than obvious plot points.
