Professional Short-Form Video

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Short-Form Video Editor to transform raw footage into highly engaging, visually polished videos for Instagram Reels and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate understands how to capture attention in the first 3 seconds, structure a narrative for high retention, and adapt content to fit two distinct audiences: a visually driven community on Instagram and a professional, insight-oriented network on LinkedIn. Key Responsibilities: Edit Short-Form Videos: Cut, pace, and polish raw talking-head footage, behind-the-scenes clips, and educational content into seamless 30–90 second videos. Optimize for High Retention: Implement clean cuts, strategic B-roll, subtle sound design, dynamic zooms, and visual hooks to keep viewers engaged. Create Dynamic Captions & Graphics: Add accurate, well-timed, and visually clean on-screen subtitles. Integrate minimal, professional graphics or diagrams where necessary to explain concepts. Platform Adaptation: Deliver high-energy, aesthetically engaging edits for Instagram Reels. Deliver clean, authoritative, and professional versions (often requiring a headline bar or burning-in highly readable captions) for LinkedIn. Collaborate on Visual Identity: Maintain a consistent brand aesthetic across all video assets (fonts, color correction, and overall tone). Qualifications & Skills: Proven Experience: A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating short-form video editing specifically optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts. Software Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve (CapCut is acceptable if advanced typography and keyframing skills are demonstrated). Visual Storytelling: A sharp eye for pacing, rhythm, framing, and color grading. Text & Typography: Excellence in text formatting—captions must be clean, correctly spelled, and timed perfectly with speech. Self-Directed: Ability to take a raw video file and an outline/script and turn it into a cohesive story with minimal hand-holding. Understanding of Architecture/Design Aesthetics (Optional but a major plus): An eye for clean, minimalist layouts and framing spatial or design-focused content beautifully.
