Ziet Media is searching for a full-time Video Editor to edit and produce long/short video clips for the purpose of postings to social media platforms, such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok etc.
All work will be done online at the moment until the physical office is ready in Q1 2023, upon which the applicants will be required to work in a physical office in Klang Valley/Subang region.
Responsibilities
1. Edit and compile video footage, overlaying graphics, animations, and sound elements to craft videos that are both visually striking and informative, adhering to the distinct branding and style of our channel.
2. Ensure the final cut stands error-free, showcasing meticulous editing skills and a keen attention to detail.
3. Display versatility in editing a range of video styles from casual YouTube takes, cinematic captures, tutorial-style videos, to snappy short social media clips.
Qualifications
1. Proficient in advanced video editing software, including but not limited to Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
2. Open to and receptive of feedback, with an emphasis on continual product refinement.
3. A minimum of 1 year of experience in editing & producing videos of a similar nature, or demonstrable ability to deliver at a comparable standard.
4. Moderate proficiency in the English language, as all content produced will be in English.
5. [BONUS] Skilled in Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics tools.
