- We're looking to hire a talented video editor, to put together a series of engaging promotional videos
- Bid according to five (5) quick 2-minute videos to start. If the work is good, we will continue ordering more, always in sets of 5.
- Each video MUST remain under 2 minutes long TOTAL (including any intros and outros), and will be posted as paid ads on Instagram and Facebook (they will be used for paid ads, that's why they must appear polished)
- The topics or content will be mainly promotional - to promote one of our services and generate sales leads/sign-ups
- We will provide you with a basic/flexible script and a storyboard where we'll outline what the scene or narration should be for each portion of the video. Nothing is written in stone. We are flexible with everything
- The video editor will be responsible for using stock video or videos from the web to put together a quick cohesive presentation
- The videos you would be editing ARE NOT animated– they would simply be an arranged sequence of videos and photos, with any transitions or effects that you have that are readily available
- We have a subscription to Envato Elements and also have a library of effects and video clips. The goal should be to produce a nice final product using inexpensive solutions
- Its important to be EFFICIENT, both in terms of Cost and Time. We don't require all 5 videos to be entirely original. There can be shared elements across several of the videos, especially since each project of 5 videos will be for the same company and involving the same topics, just from different angles. They should be different enough that the same person can see different ads and not automatically assume it was the exact same ad they had seen previously
- You would arrange the scenes, add transitions, mix in background music, graphics and simple visual effects, text slides, text content, adjust tone and exposure if necessary, add name and title areas when someone is being interviewed or speaking, etc.
- We will provide you with quality voice content for the videos (when applicable)
- You will need to provide the finished product in the correct video dimensions and under the file size limit (for Instagram vs for Facebook) depending where its going
- For each project, each video should have the same intro video clip and same outro video clip. These will need to be designed for each new company we start projects for, and then re-used for each video thereafter when necessary. The intro/outro videos should be impactful, perhaps with a pre-built or template special effect, and be super short, like 1 to 3 seconds max
- If the videos contain some parts that are animated, the animated portion will be done by somebody else (unless you can do it too) and will be provided to you along with all other other materials you'll need.
- There is no need for fancy equipment and editing software. You can do alot with very little these days. Plus, we're flexible. We give you room to express your creativity
- Long term, we're expecting to need 10-20 videos per month, all in the 2-minute or less range, and all in sets of 5. Each set of 5 will be for the same topic and for the same purpose, and all will be used for ads on Instagram and Facebook, so you will be able to reuse some of the same clips and elements across several of them (obviously without making it too repetitive or obvious)
- Please send links to a video similar videos you've done.
- We respectfully ask that you do not simply send us random links to videos that aren't yours or don't exist anymore.
- Please just send 2-3 links to videos that are in the style we just described.
You will be working closely with the Project Manager overseeing the entire project, along with the our team of Social Media and SEO Managers.
This will be an ongoing project. We hope to establish a long-term relationship with the selected contractor.
Again, bid according to 5 videos that each will be a MAX length of 2 minutes long
