We are an established cosmetic dermatology practice in Australia. We have many, many great cosmetic treatment before and after images that we'd like to share with prospective clients both on social media as well as on our website and on our in-house video screens.
We want to move on from using old fashioned, static before and after photos and instead create multiple short videos (<30 secs) each focusing in on one of our treatments. Each video would usually be based on a before and an after image that we would supply. We have professional cosmetic cameras so we can provide very consistent and high-quality images. It is important that other than cropping as necessary, the images would not be 'touched up'/photoshopped in any way to show TRUE results.
We'd like to create one square and one 16:9 video of each message. The square videos will be for social media marketing purposes, the 16:9 videos will be for use on our website and in-house. The square videos would therefore need to have greater emphasis on branding and contact information as they are more 'stand-alone' messages within a social media platform.
Our client demography is relatively conservative, elegant and wealthy women between 30 and 60. Catch phrases of relevance to our clients and our treatments are: elegant, safe, cautious, subtle, effective. Catch phrases that DO NOT relate to our clients and treatments are: flashy, out-there, aggressive marketing, young. (there are some treatments that might be marketed to clients of a different demography, that would be later.)
We would expect that although clearly there would always be a first project, that subsequent projects would remain 'in theme' with the first and that we would establish a longer term relationship with a designer, possibly sending a simple project once weekly.
We do not expect the videos to be especially complex. Just simple, multiple, thematically consistent messages that clearly and concisely explain what we can achieve for us to feed into social media to maintain a presence.
We have attached an attempt at a marketing video in-house. We are clearly not graphic designers but is shows the elements of proposed videos. An initial question (in this case 'problem pigmentation'), images that show our in-house results with a description of the treatment and some additional details, initially in this case the before image dissolving into the after image and then briefly again the before and after in such a way as to emphasize results. The square videos would then wrap up with clear clinic contact details, the 16:9 videos possibly with a simpler shorter message.
The successful designer would expect this to be a bit of a 'bread-and-butter' project, with the potential for work on a regular weekly basis flowing from this project. In terms of ou rmarketing budget, clearly this is NOT the one off big production project that some designers will be looking to bid for, instead we are looking for responses from those that understand that this is a relatively small quick project, with the potential for many more small jobs, based in a 'cookie cutter' fashion, upon the first.
