I am the broker/owner of a small (currently only me) real estate brokerage trading in southern Ontario, Canada.
I need a simple CRM solution for my business. I have tried several cloud-based solutions but none was a good fit to my simple needs which are focused on contact list management and direct (email) marketing.
(I am well-informed about CRM applications. Before moving into real estate, I worked in marketing for many years where I was involved with five different CRM implementations.)
I believe that the best way to meet my needs is to do some limited customization to Microsoft Outlook to achieve the following:
• Add up to 10 custom fields contact fields
• Create views using and filter on these custom fields
• Import/export contacts including these custom fields
• Create mail merge documents in Word using these custom fields
I use Microsoft Office 365 with email through Microsoft’s Exchange Server Business service. I run Outlook on a PC and on a laptop, both in a Windows 10 environment.
Having worked earlier in product management for a software and hosted solutions company, I have a good, high-level understanding of technology and programming issues, but at a practical level, I know just enough to be dangerous.
I am looking for someone who can do the custom programming in Outlook to implement the kind of needs I described above.
