I am looking for a skilled Excel expert to develop a linear timber cutting list optimizer. The desired output format for the cutting list is an Excel spreadsheet.
Specific requirements for the cutting pattern have not been provided, so the freelancer should be able to work with specific dimensions or be open to any pattern.
I should be able to import a cutting list as per attached into the optimizer spreadsheet.
I will specify the timber lengths we have in stock, for example 2.4m, 3.6m, 4.2m, 4.8m, etc.(This can change)
The optimizer should provide me with a cutting list, picking out of the stocked timber sizes, utilizing materials in a most cost effective way. (Less wastages) Waste should be indicated in %.
Ideal skills and experience for this job include:
