I'd like a short VBA script for in excel that receives the [login to view URL] or MailItem and returns the email address. Note this is in an exchange environment, the To field is often just a name that needs to be resolved, so need to 'regex' style the [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] to get the From: Name and Email address.
This is an extremely small script with just some regex to grab the email from the text of a reply. Please quote accordingly.
For example, when someone clicks "reply" on an email, the Reply body has From: as below.
In VBA, you can have [login to view URL] - and extract and return name and email (email is priority)
From: MailPost <noreply @ [login to view URL][.][login to view URL]>
Sent: Friday, 14 May 2021 4:05 PM
To: XXXXXXXX xxxxxxxxxxxx <xxxxxx@ [login to view URL]>
Subject: Your message is subject here
Please quote VBA Reply in your bid.
