This is a Desktop Application to be created in Visual Basic and Microsoft Access or Oracle.
The Application is for a business which lends vehicles on corporate levels for multiple companies for pick up and drop facility. It should manage around 60/70 vehicles information right from vehicle details, Driver profile/Allocations, Vehicle Schedules/ Route information, vehicle allocation, alerts, customised report generation of the schedules etc in printable format.
Major purpose of this application is to reduce cost in terms of optimum use of vehicles and driver management/usability for the given routes within the city. Further details and detailed Data flow design and exact requirements will be provided.
Brief description of proposed product/Project:
The Product/Project Business Management System is a Desktop Application Catering all the needs of a Taxi / Rent a car / Resource(Man/Machine) Management in very Cost and Time Effective way. It also gives a detailed and organised Reporting Structure with ready Planner/reports which can be maintained and distributed within organisation for 100% error/loss free and time/money saving solution for the Business.
This software takes care of managing the pick-up and drop facility to clients on daily basis in the most effective way.

The project definitely saves the overall cost incurred on man/machine on daily and monthly basis by intelligently generating the Route schedules and allocating resources.

Technical Requirements at Client Side:
This Project will be developed using Microsoft’s Visual Basic for the Front End Screens and Forms. Visual Basic Reports will be used for generating schedules, Route information graphical representation of utility and consumption of resources. Microsoft Access Database for storing all information. Will require a Computer System installed with Microsoft Windows Operating system, Microsoft Office 2000 with Microsoft Access and a Printer.

Screen – 1 à Welcome Screen with Company Logo, Login/Password Text Boxes and Buttons. Administrator Login Option available on this Screen.
Screen – 2 à Main Application Screen with all the Menus/options to access other modules of the application. This Screen has a menu bar and drop down list choose the action.
Screen – 3 à Data Management Screen.Through Administrator login, this screen apears with the options to Enter / Edit / Update / Delete data (Vehicle/Driver/Route/Schedule Info) into the database.
Screen – 4 à Client/Account Maintenance Screen. This screen has Drop Down List of the Clients. Different options of updating/managing client/Resource Informationare available in this screen.
