Build Laravel Digital Storefront

I’m planning a long-term series of projects that all start with a solid e-commerce platform in Laravel focused exclusively on digital products—software, PDFs, media packs, anything that’s delivered online. The first milestone is to get a production-ready storefront running on the latest stable Laravel version. The store must: • Handle a catalogue of unlimited digital items with variants, coupons, and tax rules • Provide a smooth cart and checkout flow tied into at least one live payment gateway (PayPal, Stripe, or Square—whichever you feel delivers the best balance of fees, regional coverage, and ease of settlement) • Fulfil orders instantly by generating secure, expiring download links or licence keys and emailing them to the buyer • Offer an admin dashboard where I can upload files, manage orders, issue refunds, and run basic sales reports • Follow PSR-12, leverage queues/events for heavy tasks, and include a small but meaningful PHPUnit test suite A responsive front-end built with Blade, Vue, or another stack you’re comfortable with is fine as long as it stays tightly coupled to Laravel’s routing, policies, and Sanctum/Passport for auth. Acceptance will be based on these checkpoints: – All checkout scenarios complete successfully in sandbox and live mode – Webhooks update order status without manual intervention – Download links expire correctly and cannot be shared – Code passes phpstan level 5 and php-cs-fixer with no errors – Deployment guide lets me reproduce the build in a fresh environment Send over links to past Laravel e-commerce work (especially where you handled digital delivery), outline your proposed architecture, and break down estimated timelines per feature so we can lock in the next steps.
