hello, from what i see, the main challenge is overriding google meet’s css in a way that expands the captions area without breaking the rest of the layout. a stylish extension can inject custom css, so we can target the caption container and force it to fill the screen height—but with a condition so it only applies when nobody is screen sharing. a few quick questions before i draft the code: 1. do you want the captions centered and filling the whole screen, or aligned at the bottom but extended higher? 2. is it okay if the solution relies only on css (visual change) or should we also add a javascript check for when screen sharing is active? 3. do you plan to use this just for yourself, or do you want a packaged chrome extension that others can install easily? once i know this, i can put together the stylish css (and js if needed) so your captions stretch full screen in meet under the right condition.
