Need to design and develop a centralised, user-focused digital platform that integrates all key features of the Portsea Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC). This platform must support the active members, social club community, and general public-facing needs for the club to bring together a range of services into a single, cohesive interface. It will aim to improve the overall experience for club members and the public by making access to relevant information, bookings, and services more efficient, intuitive, and visually clear. Social Club Members: Who are looking for easier and more convenient way to access information and services related to the club’s social offerings. This includes event bookings, food and beverage services, education information and sign up, as well as managing or renewing their membership. The platform should provide a visually engaging and straightforward experience that encourages members to continue to interact. Active Lifesaving Members: Who need simplified access to essential features such as training equipment, patrol rosters, qualifications, and internal communications. These users require a more functional and time-efficient platform that supports their ability to stay organised and informed, allowing them to balancing multiple commitments and stay onto of their Lifesaving duties. The General Public & Local Community: Including beachgoers and tourists, who rely on up-to-date information about beach safety, weather conditions, tides, and available facilities. This user group would benefit from a welcoming and informative design that promotes responsible beach use and create a stronger connection between the community and the club. To centralise and streamline all digital interactions and services provided by the club into one accessible and easy-to-use platform, reducing confusion and improving user satisfaction. To enhance access to facilities, hospitality offerings, event bookings, and accommodation in a visually cohesive way that aligns with the club’s brand identity and aesthetic. To simplify and modernise membership management, allowing both social and active members to join, renew, or update their details with minimal effort and clear visual guidance. To support active lifesaving members by delivering a reliable and practical interface for scheduling patrols, accessing training and qualification information, and staying informed about operational updates. To deliver real-time beach safety information in a format that is easy for the public to understand and interact with, especially during peak summer periods. To boost engagement and connection within the club and the wider community by improving communication channels, increasing digital transparency, and promoting the club’s offerings and initiatives in a visually engaging manner.
