Multi-Platform Price Comparison Engine

I want to build a full-featured price comparison tool similar to the core engine behind BuyHatke. The focus is strictly on comparing prices in real time, not on coupons or browser extensions. The system must work seamlessly on the web and be delivered as native iOS and Android apps so that users get the same experience regardless of device. Product coverage is intentionally broad—electronics today, groceries or apparel tomorrow—so the architecture has to let me add or remove categories without code-heavy changes. I will supply the list of partner stores and the desired data points; you will handle the crawling / API integrations, the matching logic that aligns identical SKUs across merchants, and the ranking algorithm that surfaces the best offer. A clean search interface, detailed product page with historical price graph, and basic user account module round out the user side. On the back end I need an admin dashboard to monitor crawler health, manually override mismatches, and export analytics. Once the core is stable I will handle marketing and store onboarding, so please concentrate on: • Responsive web front end plus native iOS and Android builds • Scalable data ingestion pipeline with error handling • Relational or NoSQL store optimised for high-volume price snapshots • Clear documentation and a brief hand-off session I’ll test by verifying that identical products pulled from at least ten merchants show accurate, up-to-date prices across all three platforms within the same refresh cycle.
