We are an established U.S. travel agency and tour operator, in business since 1981, accredited by IATA and ARC, and a member of ASTA and the NTA.
We are looking for a long-term partner to work with us to promote a new series of specialized tours from the U.S. to destinations worldwide. Our programs are quality tours and priced competitively with those of other tour operators. Each tour is a special, one-time tour, with a special theme and features that will appeal to a specific audience. As an example, many of our tours are nature-oriented, such as tours designed to interest those who enjoy zoos, botanical gardens, museums, etc. Each tour operates if a certain minimum number of passengers register for the tour (usually 10-to-20). And each tour can typically accept up to 30 members (although some have a lower limit).
It is our belief that these programs will sell well if it is possible to target the likely audience, particularly by emails to potential participants. In addition, other tour operators have commented that they have been able to successfully fill tours by use of postings on blogs and social media sites, which resulted in good search engine listings for each particular tour.
What we are looking for is someone who can take each tour program as they are scheduled, and promote them over the web, in order to result in passengers from across the U.S. signing-up for the tours. In order to consider you as our tour marketing partner, we need specifics on how you would propose to market the tours online.
Compensation would be in the form of a commission amount for each paying member of each tour that operates, regardless of how they learned of the opportunity to participate; thus the earnings could be substantial on each tour. Keep in mind that, in most cases, each registration is for two or more participants. And as each planned tour reaches the number of members required to operate, a new tour will be offered for promotion. So there is no limit as to how many tours and participants register… and, as a result, the commissions you can earn.
Please bid on how much you want as commission per paying participant. And you must include specifics as to how you might successfully market the tours online, as well as any experience you have in such activities. If you are selected as our marketing partner, we would expect you to begin efforts by March.
