I'm looking for a native of India that has the ability to do a little research of the gem mines of India. We are specifically interested in Alexandrite and the mines of Andrha Pradesh, Narsipattnamn, Vishakhapatnam, and the Samunda Gem Mines, and any others that are currently producing Alexandrite.
We are interested in which mines are open, when they opened or closed, are they producing Alexandrite, and what is the size and quality of the rough. What are the current government regulations? We were also told that many India gem cutters are now looking to establish investments in gem mines of other countries and need to know if the Gem and Jewelry Institute is sponsoring this. Before the project is awarded, there may be a few more specific questions we will need answered. And, as always, anything else interesting that you can turn up will be great.
We are looking for the research, not an article; however, if you want to write an article to present your facts, that would be acceptable. It must be completely referenced. I would like scans of referenced documents (newspapers, letters, books, etc). Provide name and contact information from anyone you speak to. Photos of the mines and local areas will earn a bonus.
You must be Indian, living in India with good English skills. Timeframe will be 1 week from the escrow of funds.
We will need this project completed several times a year.
