Consider the complexity of operating multiple devices – a button for every function would be unwieldy; some devices have similar operations; often, the remote is used in a dark room. The devices this remote should be able to operate are: • Television • Tuner/Amplifier • Cable Box with DVR • Blu-Ray Player • Another device of your choosing For the sake of this exercise, assume you have a free hand in look and feel – buttons can be any size or shape you prefer. Using the six aspects of UX, you will design this application. This design should include: • Detailed Write Up – The write up should describe the design decisions you made and why. It should address each of the six UX aspects above and how you used them. Note that I realize that you will not do actual user research. This should describe how you would conduct such research. • Screen Mockups – The expected screens of your application should be sketched out. Use a tool (such as Visio or [login to view URL])
