The main concept of this site is information. We want to provide our readers with easy to access material about what are the ‘must do’ things in every country around the world. We are going to break these activities into categories (such as: sport, adventure, cultural, extreme, nature etc.) to keep it relativity standardised – especially on the back and article pages. Therefore this website is going to be very content heavy and there is a need for it to be easy for us to add new articles, pictures, content as we develop it further.
Once we have got at least 10 ideas for each country we intend to write articles for each ‘activity’. This will include a description of the activity, pictures and also a section on ’How to do it yourself’ which will give information about the best company to use etc.
Finally we also want to create a section where you can sign into and create your own ‘Bucket List’ – whereby if you read and like an article or activity you can save it in your bucket list (basically like a shopping basket or a wish list on Amazon). With this Bucket List we want people to be able to share the list with friends via email, Facebook etc. in order to increase the exposure to our website.
Who is it aimed at? –
Primarily we are aiming at people who are about to go for an extended trip (i.e. backpacker, career break etc.). Therefore we want the first page (and the real premise for the site) to have a ‘’search function’’ feel. Whereby you select what countries you are going to (via a graphical map feature in the middle of the page) and click the activities you are interests in and then away you go… read and search until your heart’s content!
The homepage will have a 3 step or stage feel to it... 1., You select the countries you are interested in from a map 2., You select the activities you are interested in 3., You select the button 'Find my stuff' which takes you to the second page of our website with all your search options listed.

I can do this quickly and professionally. It sounds like a fantastic idea and I'd love to take it on, it would be a great addition to my portfolio. Please see my private message for more info.
