Design Email Templates in XSLT for use in Software to do very specific XML Merge and Email

We have a number of system generated emails that need to be redesigned. The output we require is XSLT with embedded styles that can be used to generate HTML for use in the body of an email. Email systems do not support full CSS and since the HTML will not be rendered on a website but inside an email client - care must be taken with the type of styling used. The formatted result must be compatible with the following email clients : gmail, outlook, thunderbird and outlook web access. Not all developers will have access to all these systems, but we can provide screen shots of results of testing - the developer will need to make necessary adjustments to resolve formatting problems. There are 7 major types of emails being generated, some of them are more complicated than others and we have provided examples of alternative layouts for these ones - details below. We want all of them to be similar in style - not all messages have an image as a guide - but those that do should set the expectation for similar designs for the others. Overall, the messages must be clean and professional, they must be easy to read and make it difficult for people to see what is required. Use of colour should be limited as per the examples give. Task Callup Message - this is the most complicated - it is used by a company to send instructions to commence work on a specific task on a specific date with numerous detail and job related fields. It can also include multiple tasks in the email, multiple tasks across multiple jobs, and cancellation or reschedule of these tasks. Recover Password Message - this is a simple email that is sent by a company to a client to help them reset and recover their password. See [login to view URL] 3. Issue Signoff Message - this is a message that is sent by a company to a client to acknowledge that an issue or problem raised by the client (such as defect maintenance etc) has been resolved. see [login to view URL] 5. Activity Report Distribution Message - this is a message that is sent by a company to an internal staff member with a report attached - the message will have some details about the report and the job that the report relates to. see [login to view URL] 6. Generic Internal Notification - more simple than 5 Activity Report message above - it simply contains details about the report, and no job information. 7. Request For Quote Message - This is a message sent by a company to an external supplier asking the supplier to provide a quote on the price for work specified in the message.
