I am looking for a competent developer to create a web and mobile (android and iphone/ipad hopefully) application that can be self hosted either over our wireless network on a local server computer, or on our secure webhost. The application must be on a secure connection and we do have an SSL on our webhost. My regular lab staff will need user accounts, and we will need some manager/admin account priveledges built in as well.
This software has multiple parts that I would like to include. We are an electronic cigarette and eliquid manufacturing business and require first off - a calculator with various options that we can enter the values of our ingredients and the amount of eliquid we want to make, and have it calculate the amounts of each ingredient needed to make that batch.
I would like to have the application save a database of ingredients which can be added as we work in the calculator - for example if we need to add a new flavor to our ingredients that we've never used before I'd like to be able to create that new flavor in our database as we use the calculator, and have it save that ingredient for future use.
We want to also keep track of batch number information for each ingredient used, and have the system generate a batch number for our final product as well to keep track of all ingredients and batch numbers - we also want a feature which can search our database for all of our eliquids which contain certain ingredients with filtering options by batch number, date, manufacturer, ingredient name, etc. We want to keep full records of everything and have the entire database searchable, and we also need to be able to print and export these reports that we run with these filters.
We want to be able to gather statistics of all batches that we produce - how much of each ingredient we have used over a set time-span, how much of each product we have created, dates and names of employees who worked on the batches, etc.
There are eliquid calculator apps available already which can be used as an example for you to get an idea of how the calculator part works - but we need to customize a few things and we want to have the reporting, batch numbers, and databases of our own so that they can be kept secure and have more options that we require.
We create our own flavor concentrates by mixing several ingredients together, we need to be able to enter and save our recipes for future use - we need to be able to enter as many ingredients as we want to make up a total of 100%, then we want to be able to use that recipe and enter the variables that we want for each batch (amount of liquid to be made, % of flavoring being added to the recipe, amount of desired nicotine level, and the desired % of VG, PG, etc). Then the calculator can tell us how much of each ingredient we need to add to create the batch.
We want to be able to include expiry date information for each batch based on the date that it was created.
We want to be able to print out recipes for paper copies if we need and to be able to search recipes by ingredients, etc.
Also we need a cost calculator so that we can enter the cost of each ingredient in the database so that we can calculate the actual cost of the final product per ML. I would like to be able to do all of this from a computer at least to start, and it would be nice to have an ipad, iphone, and android app available for my staff as well - but the web/computer access is most important. If it was web based and able to be mobile optimized so that we can just log in from a smartphone that would also be great and could avoid the mobile app development.
