The platform should include all the features that sriptlance/gaf have
including featured projects/gold memberships.
It should be easly localizable as it will be immediately be deployed
in two languages and none of them is english.
the two environments will be in the beginning completely indipendent
but running on the same server. (you will help defining hosting server specifications)
The offers (projects in freelancer sites) should be categorized using
a main category plus a secondary category plus jobtypes.
example: category IT has webdesign , webdesign has php, perl, blah blah.
The categories and subcategories (see scriptlance Category/Job Types)
must be easly manageable by us allowing adding of categories every
time needed, the users indeed will have a link on the project posting page to send a message to admin requesting a new category to add.
Because this is not only going to be targeted to e-work/programming
but also to manpower/territorial based services we need to
make this territorial friendly. I try to explain this by example.
The site is serving a country where there is 4 regions (the can be
different and IS different country by country so it must be
easy to setup the initial database with the right amount/names of regions), every region have e.g. 4 cities.
when a user put in a project he will tell the city/postcode he is in so that when a someone is searching for project e.g. gardening he can decide to search projects which are based on a location that is within a given range.
That meaning the database will also have a table with distances btwn
cities or something similar. there is plenty of sites using this approach we wil need to find out the easiest and most reliable way.
When searching for a project to bid on a user must be easly able to
search projects with the following inputs: (keyword) (Job Type -can be
all-) (city in which the searcher is) (maximum distance)
When browsing for a project the user must be able to browse by (Job
Type) once selected jobtype the user must be able to select the
maximum distance from him as a filter.
I can give an example of website that allows this kind of
browsing/searching but for normal bids like e*b*a*y.
Our project manager must be able to localize (see translate), add
cities/regions with distance table and install the script by himself.
We still want to keep possibility for users to watch for new jobs posted using categories/jobtype + distance.
You will need to document the code in english. Extra care should be taken for ALL the features expressely requested. (see Referral Program). In this we can have some flexibility.
The overall project should be well documented.
We are not looking for stolen scripts or anything else that can bring
us legal problems so use code you are allowed to use, make it from
scratch or do not bid.
Again, If you are looking to customize smartscr*pts freelan*ers script
this looks ok, let's just be sure it's legal.
The smart*cripts free*ancer script seems ideal as start point, it
supports almost all features we need.
The graphics should be ESSENTIAL,quick to load, relaxing and forward
thinking. S*c*r*i*p*t*lancers design we like, b*l*o*g*g*e*[url removed, login to view] kind
of style we love.
If you build the all thing keeping in mind an easy graphical re-design
in the future than you'll have to work less when we'll ask you for it!
As other fre*lancers sites we would like to give our users the option
to use us as escrow service.
The site should integrate various methods of transferring money TO their account.
An advanced and easy manageable referral program must be implemented
(like getafreelncer but more complex), this to allow multiple persons
to earn part of the percentage using
a calculation scheme to be provided. Fees for Featured projects/gold
membership are also part of the referral and will need to be divided
according to a scheme that will be provided.
All earnings coming from the referral program will be put on the
member balance, members will be able to withdraw from their balance
requesting the withdraw, all money transaction will be done manually
by our operators for obvious security reasons.
we need an option in the admin panel to show payments to be made and
an easy way to check it as done. more details in the admin panel
The user after logging in should be able to see/print the actual
balance with the deatails of which transaction generated which
revenue, he must be able to do that everytime he wants, for
if you can see performance issues those deailed balances can be
created once a day and the customer will be accessing a pre-generated

regarding Payments to be done (withdrawals) are shown and can be marked as done, when marking
a payment as done the operator that made it will insert
in a note field the details of the payment. Once submitted a
communication has to go to the user that requested the withdraw.
Our Project Manager should be able to install the scripts himself, this doesn't mean you have to develop an automatic procedure.
