I want to build a market place website. I want two users. Vendors and Consumers.
Vendors create a seller account that is approved by my company. They then can upload their product(s) and put them for sale.
The product has to be on a flash sale. So the vendor must put how long they want the sale to last, as well as input how much stock they have, and include the original price and of course they have to input the sale price.
After their sale is over, their product must be removed from visibility from the marketplace.
Customers browse the site and see all the flash sales. The home page will have featured flash sales, and the navigation will have helpful links for the consumer to find something they would like.
I want the consumer to be able to favorite products and favorite vendors. Everytime one of their favorite items or vendors goes on a flash sale, they will get email or SMS notification.
The tricky part is making sure the vendors receive their payments. The website is going to take 10%-15% of every sale and the rest goes to the vendor. I want this to be simple and smooth. Either A: we pay out the vendors once a week automatically what they are owed for all sales within a weeks period, or everyday it does it automatically.
Paypal might work, but it also might not, because the products this website will consist are not paypal friendly. Paypal definitely cannot be used as payment by consumers. Credit Card only. So I want to know how can we pay our vendors safely, and quickly.
Please let me know if you can make this for me.
